Most weekends in the Phoenix metro area, you can find nationally-known stand-up comics performing at a club or a resort, but those are just quick drop-ins before they land in Denver or San Diego for the next gig.

The Show continues a series called "Stand-Up Sit Down" where we speak with Arizona-based comedians who offer a unique local perspective.

Chris Bennett is from the Valley but currently lives in Show Low. In his act, he recounts stories from his life but with an extremely charismatic, energetic approach, which helped him mark a career highlight with an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live."

The Show wanted to learn what made him tick as a stand-up comedian and how different it feels to make people laugh or really bomb on stage.
