Thursday is the first day of fall, but with temperatures in the 90s it may not exactly feel like fall weather.

Paul Iniguez is a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. He said while temperatures are expected to remain below the 100-degree mark for the next two weeks, the heat can still make a comeback.

"It definitely happens in October. The most 100-degrees day we’ve had was 15 in 1991, and last year we had two of them. So, we’re still in that window, like I said, where we can get 100-degree days," said Iniguez.

Besides cooler weather, rain is also possible Thursday afternoon and evening.
