Halloween is one week away with its scary traditions, tricks and treats.

This is also the season for Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, which will be celebrated this weekend at the Mesa Arts Center.

Festival spokesperson Ginny Montaño told us that despite some visual similarities, the holidays don’t have much in common.
