Just over 200 law schools are accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA) across the nation including two ran by a private, for-profit company called InfiLaw System, the operator of Arizona Summit Law School. But if the ABA has its way, there would be two fewer schools on that list.

Summit, and its sister school in Florida, would lose that distinction, since the ABA has said the schools are “out of compliance” with their accreditation system.

In turn, InfiLaw is now suing the ABA, accusing it of unfair and biased treatment of the school.

Anne Ryman, who’s written about this issue for the Arizona Republic, talked with The Show about it.
