Battle Over Native American Law On Adoptions Isn't Over

The Goldwater Institute had sued to challenge a federal law that requires Native American children removed from the home to be placed with a Native American family.

On Monday, a panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals threw out the suit, saying the argument is moot because the families Goldwater represented have already adopted their Native children.
