Arizona Primavera Online Charter School Rakes In Millions Despite High Dropout Rate

Primavera, the online charter school, has the state’s third highest dropout rate, but even with those low student retention rates, it continues to earn millions of dollars.

An audit by the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools found Damian Creamer, the school’s founder and chief executive, was paid nearly $9 million in 2015 from the for-profit company that now runs Primavera.
