3 Newcomers Elected To Maricopa County Community College District Board

Three new faces will grace the board of the Maricopa County Community College District.

One ran unopposed and two ran for open seats.

Kathleen Ann Winn, a former Mesa real estate agent, took the at-large position.

Marie Sullivan, an economic development nonprofit director, won District 3, which includes Phoenix and Paradise Valley community colleges.

Tom Nirini, a school counselor, will represent District 5, which includes Gateway and South Mountain community colleges.

Incumbent Jean McGrath will continue to represent District 4 with Glendale and Estrella Mountain community colleges.

The Maricopa County Community College District is one of the largest in the country.
