State Route 67 between Jacob Lake and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon will be blocked off for the season Dec. 3. 

According to a press release from the Arizona Department of Transportation, ADOT doesn't clear snow from that highway during the winter. That’s because the North Rim visitor accommodations are closed as well.

US 89A will remain open during the winter, but state routes 261, 273 and 473 to lakes in the White Mountains will close on Dec. 31.
