Prescott Voters Approve Measure To Raise City Sales-Tax Rate

The vote will raise residents’ sales tax by three-quarters of a percent and pay for pension benefits for police officers and firefighters.
I just got a hold of Michael Lamar, city manager in Prescott, and he said he’s incredibly happy the measure passed.
