Tiara Vian is a Producer and Host for the KJZZ news team, producing and voicing station promotional pieces and helping draft new ideas for future promos. She’s also helping the team expand its music library and improve the station’s brand with clever drive time grooves to play under and in between program segments and as well as designing custom station promos for Fund Drives.
Vian edits stories from the Arizona Storytellers Project for air, produces local commentaries, and she is the voice you hear hosting Saturday afternoons and occasionally during the week.
Vian has hands-on experience in audio editing, producing, board operating, call screening, voice work, and hosting — including work as a producer and call screener for KQTH News/Talk radio in Tucson.
Tucson is the place Vian called home for a long time. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Media and Film from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff in 2010.
When Vian is not working, she enjoys vlogging about natural hair and fashion on her YouTube Channel. She, her husband, and their dog live in Mesa.
