Volunteering

When you volunteer for KJZZ, you don't just help the station; you also participate in fun events, meet interesting people, and support the quality programming you enjoy every day. Volunteers are critical to furthering the mission of public radio.

We engage our volunteers to:

  • answer phones during our major weeklong member drives
  • read for Sun Sounds of Arizona
  • provide clerical assistance for our Member Services team
  • provide staffing for events
  • be a Sun Sounds Ambassador
  • give station tours
  • reach out to our community through our Soundbite truck
