About 2 million people do not have access to running water or a flushing toilet in their homes in the United States. That’s the finding from a new report from nonprofit clean water organization DigDeep.

There are hundreds of organizations like DigDeep. They're specifically working in third-world countries to get people access to water and theirs is the only one doing it in the U.S.

DigDeep also found that access to clean water is divided along racial and income lines. They call it the "water access gap," and The Show spoke with George McGraw, the organization’s founder and CEO, about it.
