An endangered species that has been spotted in southern Arizona is living undisturbed south of the border. The ocelot is a medium-sized species of Leopard that can be found as far north as southern Arizona and Texas and as far south as northern Argentina.

A new study documented 18 ocelots living on a Sonoran cattle ranch and wildlife refuge near the U.S. border. The cats were photographed over two different time periods dating back to 2007.

Study author Jim Rorabaugh, a retired U.S. Game and Fish Department biologist, joined The Show to talk about it.
