Electric vehicles aren’t a new development. General Motors introduced the EV1 in 1996, but a lot of consumers have been drawn in by the style and limited availability of Tesla.

And the industry is still attempting to get more consumers to go electric, which has become more challenging as the price of gas is somewhat stable and standard cars are more fuel efficient.

Recently, a team of eight Wall Street Journal reporters decided to actually experience the cars and find out just how usable they really are. The results were a little mixed.

The Wall Street Journal's Nora Naughton joined The Show to talk about the experience.
