Report: US Graduation Rates Up, But More Work to Do

A report released this week has some encouraging news on high school graduation rates across the country.

The Alliance for Excellent Education found between 2008 and 2012, the number of high school dropouts dropped by about 250,000 each year — the organization gives at least some of the credit to federal policy.
