Phoenix officials have started soliciting input from city residents about the search for a new police chief, putting up an online survey.

So, what do Phoenix residents want to see in their new chief? To find out, we reached out to people in different parts of the city. Craig Steblay, president of the Arcadia Camelback Neighborhood Association, and George Young, chairman of the South Mountain Village Planning Committee, gave their perspectives.
