One of America’s foremost groups of western art has a big anniversary this year, and to celebrate, Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West is looking back at the 50 years of the Cowboy Artists of America in a retrospective.

Tricia Loscher, the museum’s chief curator and Prescott-based sculptor, and painter John Coleman, a member of the Cowboy Artists of America, spoke about the event.
