Arizona Diamondbacks Confident As They Begin NLDS Against Dodgers

After a wild win in the wildcard game, the Arizona Diamondbacks have made their way to Los Angeles to begin the National League Division series against the Dodgers Friday night.

Third baseman Jake Lamb, who had four hits in Wednesday night’s win over Colorado, talks about matching up with the team that finished with the best record in the majors.

“In our clubhouse, we do have a lot of confidence going into LA," Lamb said. "But at the same time they also have a lot of confidence too. They’re the best team in the big leagues and we’re gonna go in there and I think it’s gonna be a great series.”

Despite the Dodgers winning the NL West by 11 games over Arizona, the Diamondbacks won the season series between two teams 11 to 8, taking the last 6 games.

The best of 5 series shifts to Phoenix on Monday for Game 3 and if necessary, game 4 on Tuesday.

First pitch starts at 7:30 p.m. at Dodgers Stadium. The Diamondbacks will throw starter Taijuan Walker against LA’s ace Clayton Kershaw.
