Friday morning, the city of Glendale unveiled a recently-started pilot program called “Glendale Works,” which is designed to get homeless people performing jobs like landscaping and removing trash in city parks.

It’s a public-private partnership teaming Glendale with the Phoenix Rescue Mission.
