The Show regularly checks in with Editorial Board of the Arizona Republic to talk about the big issues facing the state and the region — featured in the newspaper’s Viewpoints section.

A trio of bills in the Arizona legislature could — if passed and signed by the governor — make it easier for residents to opt out of vaccinations for their kids.

Arizona is already a state that permits an expanded number of vaccine-related exemptions. This is at a time when the Arizona Department of Health Services has noted cases of measles and mumps in the state.

Arizona Republic Editorial Director Phil Boas joined The Show for his weekly appearance to talk about vaccinations and a recent column that called for some teens to be able to opt in.
