The Phoenix City Council is in the midst of a shakeup.

Two seats were left open when Kate Gallego left her District 8 City Council seat to run for the office and District 5 Rep. Daniel Valenzuela left his seat to run against her.

The Show invited the candidates to talk about issues important in their districts ahead of the May 21 runoff election.

District 5

The two candidates in the runoff for District 5 are Betty Guardado and Vania Guevara.

District 8
